Can I use my employer education benefits to pay for the RBLP® certification exam?

Employer education benefits

RBLP® encourages everyone who is interested in the RBLP® certification series to reach out to their HR department and/or HR representative about using your company’s education benefits to pay for your certification.

  • Companies provide education benefits because it helps them hire and retain good talent. Under U.S. federal law, education benefits are deductible to the employer as a business expense and tax-free for employees up to $5,250 annually.

  • Most companies also find it far more cost-effective to upskill current employees than to hire new staff. Taking advantage of your company’s education benefits will allow you to enhance your skills and increase your value to the organization at the same time.

  • Employer-sponsored education benefits typically pay for college and university degree programs, certificate programs at colleges and universities, and professional certifications from credentialing agencies like the Resilience-Building Leader Program.

    • The costs are separate. The certification exam is with RBLP®, and the Building and Leading Resilient Teams course is with an AEP or ATP. RBLP and the AEP/ATP will provide separate invoices.
